MOM’S SPECIAL GOMEN BE’SIGA

Enjoy each bite of this meat and collard greens dish. Cubed lamb mixed with fresh collard greens & simmered in a mild sauce seasoned with seasoned butter, herbs & spices. This is our mom’s special and we hope you enjoy it as much as we did growing up.

Cubes of tender pieces of Lamb or Beef cooked with onions, garlic, tomatoes, jalapeños finished with rosemary and seasoned butter. (Without berbere/ spicy sauce)

KITFO

Kudos to the people who invented this dish. (Gurage region) Prime beef tartare seasoned with Ethiopian clarified butter, Ethiopian chili powder and accompanied by (Ayeb) crumbled cottage cheese & collard greens. Can be served raw, lightly sautéed or cooked.

TIBSI FIRFIR

Seasoned beef pieces simmered in a red pepper berbere sauce carefully tossed with pieces of injera.

Pureed split peas & chickpeas cooked with onions and garlic. This dish is mixture of dried legumes and plenty of spices (medium spicy)

Tomato based sauce with a hint of red pepper (berbere) carefully tossed with pieces of injera.
